Ever since it was created, the School of Water has been an institution specialized in the development of educational, museum and environmental awareness-raising programmes for different groups of people.

Our programmes, activities and resources are designed on the basis of the following pillars:

  • What do we want to learn? We propose contents and competences linked to environmental education, connecting them with the daily life of the participants.
  • How do we do it? We propose organizing the activities according to the teaching-learning cycle, considering the educator as the mediator and facilitator of the visitors learning.
  • Where do we act? We propose contextualizing the activities in their environment, using materials which provide a significant and multisensorial experience.
  • Who participates? People are at the heart of the teaching design of our activities, intended to take account of the diversity and inclusion of all skills.

The environmental education activities discover the quality of life provided by wastewater treatment
