On April 18 and 19, the meeting of the coordinators of the Water Challenge VET Labs project took place in Denmark. 

The coordination of the project, the Fundació BCN Formació Professional and the partners, the Mercantec Centers (Viborg), De Wijnpers (Leuven) INS Esteve Terradas (Cornellà de Llobregat) together with the company that launches the challenge, AGBAR with the Water School .

The meetings are control points for the evolution of the project and the planning and coordination of the parties to continue moving forward. This project has a duration of a year and a half and will be completed next May.

The objective of the project is to involve European Vocational Training students in solving the challenge of innovating innovative nature-based solutions for urban drainage. Mitigate the problem of flooding and improve water retention within an imaginary European city, “Metropolis”.
Both students and trainers participate in the international awards with the jury that will evaluate the best idea proposed by international participants with the social challenge in the water management sector.
