The Agbar Foundation is organizing a new series of conferences, called the Cercle de l'Aigua, to reflect on current economic, political, social and environmental challenges.

This contest has been incorporated into the value proposition of the Water School for its Alumni group, in order to offer windows of inspiration, reflection or ideation that help us to have a holistic view of current affairs from different perspectives and promote debate.

Geopolitics was the focus of the first dialogue with the participation of Shlomo Ben Ami, vice-president of the Toledo International Center for Peace, and Juan José López Burniol, vice-president of the "la Caixa" Foundation.

The second meeting was led by José Enrique Ruiz-Domènec, who gave a historical overview to understand the contemporary world, with special attention to the Mediterranean heritage and the link between water and long-term paradigm changes.

More than 70 alumni attended in person at the Agbar Agora at the Cornellà headquarters to participate in the conference.
